From The Watery Grave

[Inspired by Jonah's prayer from the belly of the whale.]
The Word of God, it comes to us
Asking us to go and preach
Instead we tend to run away
Escape becomes the only reach
Some give excuses,
Others just laugh
And Jonah took a ship and sailed away.
Here comes a storm sent by the Lord
Turning everything around you to pieces .
The ship rolled about, so did Jonah's dreams
The next thing he knows, he's in the belly of a huge fish
Then began his journey to his death
Down, deep down in a watery grave.
Surrounded by darkness
Covered with filth
He's not sure if he's dead or alive
But then he gathers
Just enough strength
To pray the prayer, his only prayer .
"My life was slipping away
All doors were shut forever
But one door was open-
The door to heaven
I remembered you, My Lord
And you heard my cry
You're a loving God and
Salvation belongs to only You! "
Prince Of Peace

[Vocals/Rythm Guitar: Vithun N.R.K, Drums: Thomas Mathews, Lead Guitar: Saljrang Sangma, Keys/Lyricist: Paritosh Hebbal.]
A shattered hope
All my dreams are crashing down
Right here, in front of me.
No place to hide
I have no place to go
All my bones are growing weak
Time's running out
My desires burnt
By the fallen angel.
A shadow of doubt
From an ocean of fear
Emerges out to swallow me.
So then I join my hands
I bend my knees in prayer.
Tears start flowing down my eyes
Then two nail-scarred hands
Start saving every teardrop
I lift my eyes to see
The Prince Of Peace right next to me.
My heart is cold
Fear and trembling within
Confused and insecure .
I'm in a cave
Surrounded by Lions and beasts
Death is only a minute away.
So then I join my hands
I bend my knees in prayer.
Tears start flowing down my eyes
Then two nail-scarred hands
Start saving every teardrop
I lift my eyes to see
The Prince Of Peace right next to me.

Who We Are.
...but those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint. (Isaiah 40:31)We ran but didn't grow weary, .. we walked and never grew faint. So great was our God that He kept us going. Right now, our band has come up with two original compositions, 'Prince Of Peace' and 'From The Watery Grave'. That's enough information for now. :) Will keep updating and uploading our videos and pics and performances. Do encourage us by sharing your faith with us. :)
